The gorge of Imbros lies in Sfakia of Chania Crete. It begins from the Imbros village near Askifou plateau and ends after five kilometers (three hours walk) near the beach of Frangokastello.
The route is fantastic and not boring at all as the landscape is constantly changing.
At first the landscape is flat, allowing everyone to admire the variety of flora and fauna.
Then the walls are raising and in some places reach a height of 300 meters. Continuing to observe the walls approach one another, reaching a distance of two meters giving the impression of an underground tunnel. The scene at the end calms again approaching the beach of Frangokastello.
